Real Madrid terminate Eden Hazard's contract after mutual agreement

Real Madrid and Eden Hazard's saga ends after the Spanish club terminated his contract with mutual consent. The 32-year-old spent four years at the club but was unable to make an impact. Injuries restricted his game time at the Capital Club and now he will be available in the transfer market.
Real Madrid paid a heavy amount to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea. Cristiano Ronaldo left the club and in the next season, they replaced him with Eden Hazard. They cost them around £88.3m, with add-ons potentially rising to £150m.
Eden Hazard has won three major trophies at Real Madrid. He won the famous 2021-22 Champions League with three appearances. Hazard also won the LaLiga in the same season. Earlier, he won the LaLiga in the 2019-20 season.
