Watch: Lionel Messi and Barcelona president Joan Laporta spotted together in meeting

Barcelona are doing everything to bring Lionel Messi back to club
Barcelona president Joan Laporta and Lionel Messi were spotted together in a meeting ahead of the Argentine's potential LaLiga return.
According to reports, LaLiga has accepted Barcelona's "feasibility plan," allowing the club to begin making preparations for the upcoming year and sign Lionel Messi.
After considering their financial intentions, LaLiga has reportedly approved the Catalan giants, according to reports from Gerard Romero and Relevo.
Following the news, Barcelona can finally sign fresh agreements for Ronald Araujo and Gavi. Alejandro Balde's new contract should also be finalised.
According to Relevo, Barcelona will now have space to sign Inigo Martinez from Athletic Club for nothing. At the Camp Nou, Martinez will agree to a two-year contract.
Given that Ernesto Valverde announced Martinez's exit over the weekend, the defender is anticipated to be Barca's first summer acquisition.
With La Liga's blessing, Barcelona now have some optimism that an agreement to bring Lionel Messi back to the team may be reached.
Following his departure from PSG, Messi is rumoured to be eager to settle his future as soon as possible, but Barcelona have not yet made a formal offer, and there are other interested parties.
Xavi acknowledged after Barca's final match of the campaign that he expects a "key week" ahead in terms of moves, but Barcelona still has to part with players in order to sign Messi.
Speaking on if Messi could join Barcelona he said: "He knows we're ready to welcome him. Nothing has changed, we have chances. We want Leo here. Let him decide. I'm ready to include him in our system."
"If Leo doesn't come, a player of that profile would be needed. Bernardo? It would be wonderful but it's very difficult. Kimmich is a super top player and understands the game in a fantastic way. If there is an open door, there will be a negotiation with Bayern."
Jorge Messi, the father of Lionel Messi, met with Barcelona's president and after the meeting, he said: “Leo wants to return to Barcelona and I’d love to see him back to Barça. Barça move is an option for sure."
