The UEFA Euro U-21 2023 will take place in Romania and Georgia, with 16 teams vying for the top honour in the continent’s age-group competition. Between June 21 and July 8, the competition will take place.

Co-hosts Georgia and Romania have been added to the tournament’s Groups A and B, respectively. Romania will compete in the group phase against Spain, Ukraine, and Croatia, whereas Georgia will be paired with Portugal, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

With an unprecedented five victories each, Spain and Italy are the most dominant squads in the history of the tournament. Germany, who claimed their third championship in 2021, are the current champion.

Where is the venue of the UEFA Euro U-21 2023 Championship?

Five cities will host the tournament: Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kutaisi (two in Romania and three in Georgia).

The fixtures will be held in Romania at Steaua Stadium, Rapid-Giulești Stadium, and Cluj Arena and Dr Constantin Radulescu Stadium in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, respectively.

The matches will be held in Georgia at the Ramaz Shengelia Stadium in Kutaisi, Adjarabet Arena in Batumi, and Boris Paichadze and Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi.

When is the UEFA Euro U-21 2023 in 2023?

A qualifying system that took place over the course of the previous 12 months confirmed a total of 16 nations for the UEFA European Championship in 2023.

The participants were divided into groups A through D via a lottery made on October 18, 2022. The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout phase of the quarterfinals.
