10. Amine Gouiri- €35M

France have arguably the most stacked squad heading in this tournament when it comes to talent, Ligue 1 is one of the leagues which has the ability to produce young talents. One player to watch in this tournament is Gouiri and all eyes will be on him.

The 23-year-old plays as an attacking midfielder/forward for the French club Rennes, he has become a key component for the French side. He had 23 goal involvements in all competitions during the 2022-23 season. He has previously played on the wing for the U21s and will continue to do so in U21 European Championship while also being an in-form player.

9. Anthony Gordon- €35M

An attacking midfielder who included dribbling and finishing among his strengths, Anthony Gordon joined Everton Academy Under-12s as an 11-year-old after being spotted playing for his local team, Frameline Juniors FC. He would receive early recognition as a potential future star when he was highlighted by The Guardian as one of the best Next Generation talents at Everton. 

After his breakthrough season with Everton where he scored 3 goals in the 16 matches that he played for Everton before moving to Newcastle, with a Champions League spot next season and Euro U21 at stake, Gordon will look to prove his worth and make a name for himself in Europe.

8. Emile Smith Rowe- €35M

Emile Smith Rowe has emerged as a central figure in Arsenal’s 2022-23 season revival, the 22-year-old has injected urgency and creativity into Mikel Arteta's side coming from the bench, the attacking midfielder has produced some world-class performances for the English club.

Smith Rowe is an extremely energetic attacking midfielder who excels in running from box to box and supporting his teammates. His often vertical, well-timed movements and regular runs support make him a suitable target for the ball carrier and involving changes of speed or direction that make him so penetrative.

Another English player who made it to the list is Harvey Elliott, the 20-year-old left footed is an attacking midfielder who operates from the right wing for Liverpool in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp made him a regular starter this season.

The youngster played 32 matches in the Premier League and scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists during this season. The highest-ranked player on the list of Golden Boy from England's top flight is contracted to Liverpool in Harvey Elliott. The Reds youngster places 14th on the index, ahead of Manchester City's Rico Lewis in 17th, followed by a certain Stefan Bajčetić in 21st.

6. Michael Olise- €38M

The young player’s ball control, dribbling, technique, and passing range have all been remarkable. He can play either as a number 10 or on either wing. He was acquired from Reading by Crystal Palace in an £8 million deal in July, it will be intriguing to see if the youngster can perform in the U21 Euros.

The Frenchman has impressed everybody this season, the lightning fast midfielder was involved in 11 assists for the English side Crystal Palace this season. The youngster is almost the carbon copy of his teammate Wilfried Zaha and due to his performances a lot of European clubs have shown interest in signing him.

5. Morgan Gibbs-White- €40M

Morgan Gibbs-White was awarded the Fans Player of the Season for Nottingham Forest this season. He was signed from Wolves in 2022, he became the club record signing for Nottingham Forest and the 23-year-old midfielder has been impressive this season.

In the Premier League this season, he helped Nottingham avoid relegation by scoring 5 crucial goals and assisting 8 goals which helped them which above the relegation zone this season. Euro U21 and Premier League next season can make him an English player to watch for years to come.

4. Giorgio Scalvini- €40M

The 19-year-old defender has become a regular in Gian Piero Gasperini's side and earned a call-up from Roberto Mancini at the start of the year 2022. The defender was inspired by Thiago Silva before he started playing. After developing the likes of Franck Kessie, Dejan Kulusevski and Amad Diallo in recent years, Atalanta has earned a growing reputation as having one of the best youth systems in Italian football.

Scalvini is one of the players coming from Atlanta and Italy who could turn it around in the U21 Euros and impress scouts and European clubs as we head into the summer transfer for the 2023-24 campaign.

3. Jacob Ramsey- €42M

Ramsey is a product of the Aston Villa Academy and has represented England at youth level; he is currently a member of the under-21 squad. In the 2022-23 season he was a starter for the English club, he played 35 matches in the Premier League this season.

He helped Unai Emery's side earn a Europa League Conference Qualifiers spot for next season, he was vital for the squad as he was involved in 13 goal involvements-6 goals and 7 assists to add to his tally. The youngster is the expensive English player in this year's Euros.

2. Sandro Tonali- €50M

Tonali is close to joining Newcastle United in summer of 2023

Sandro Tonali plays as a defensive midfielder for Italy U21 and AC Milan, the 23-year-old player will add experience to the Italy U21 squad in the Euros. The midfield player was integral in this year's success for AC Milan as they finished in top 4 and finishing the season as Champions League semi-finalists.

Recently, there have been news of him signing for English clubs and the frontrunner right now is Newcastle United, and adding him would fill up a place for them as they head into the next season with a Champions League spot.

1. Mykhailo Mudryk- €50M

Mudryk came into spotlight after he showed everybody what he is all about when he was playing for Shakhtar. He was then signed by Chelsea to add up to the list of youngsters that Chelsea has signed already.

Even though he didn't score in the Premier League this season but he has shown glimpses of what he is capable of doing, a Eden Hazard type of guy in the wing who can exploit defenders and we can expect the same from him in the U21 Euro as well.
