Australia and New Zealand will host the 32-team FIFA Women's World Cup
FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 will be held in Australia and New Zealand, making it the first-ever co-hosted Women's World Cup. The tournament starts on July 20, with the final taking place on August 20 in Sydney at the Accor Stadium.
The USA are the defending FIFA Women's World Cup champions and are looking to become the first team in the competition's history to win the tournament three times in a row. The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 will have 32 teams. This is eight more than the previous edition of the tournament.
Teams are divided into eight groups. Below are the eight groups of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.
Group A: New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Switzerland
Group B: Australia, Ireland, Nigeria, Canada
Group C: Costa Rica, Japan, Spain, Zambia
Group D: England, Haiti, Denmark, China
Group E: USA, Vietnam, Netherlands, Portugal
Group F: France, Jamaica, Brazil, Panama
Group G: Sweden, South Africa, Italy, Argentina
