According to reports, Harry Kane is "close" to joining Bayern Munich. The Germans hope to secure a deal for less than Tottenham Hotspur's £90 million asking price.
The 30-year-old Kane is in the last year of his deal with the North Londoners. He is keen to move to Bavaria in order to win silverware in his great individual career.
But Spurs have thus far resisted Bayern Munich, putting a huge £90 million price tag on their prized possession.
The Mail reports that the Bundesliga champions will dispatch agents to England on Monday for urgent transfer negotiations. Then, Bayern will make a £75 million offer for Kane to Daniel Levy.
For a player of his generation who is going to be a free agent the following year, they believe it to be more than fair. Additionally, Bayern are confident that Spurs will cooperate and meet them halfway.
Kane will work with Thomas Tuchel, the former Chelsea manager if his desired transfer to the Allianz Arena goes through.
The champion of the Champions League has been open about wanting to sign a potent striker.
Sadio Mane, an earlier Liverpool forward, appears to be on the verge of joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr, and Tuchel is already planning to fire him.
He may even entice Kane by offering the talented Bayern forward Mathys Tel. Richarlison, a Brazilian international worth £60 million, is already a potential successor for Spurs.
However, Kane scored a career-high 30 goals last season, while he only managed one Champions League goal.
And Ange Postecoglou might still insist on getting a different striker to replace Spurs' legendary club player.
