Benfica identify two ideal replacements for Goncalo Ramos

Ramos has been linked with a move to a number of European clubs
In the event that Goncalo Ramos departs the team, Benfica have set Santiago Gimenez and Lucas Beltrán as their top transfer targets.
As they are ready for life without Goncalo Ramos, Benfica have increased their interest in Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez and Lucas Beltran, according to Record.
Ramos has received a lot of attention regarding a transfer to the Premier League. Teams like Manchester United and Newcastle United are rumoured to be keeping a close eye on the attacker, while Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in signing him.
Gimenez is viewed by Benfica as the best Ramos substitute in the event that Ramos is transferred, despite the fact that they have not yet given up on keeping their star striker.
Gimenez had a standout rookie season with Feyenoord, which attracted the attention of other illustrious clubs.
Additionally, Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid have been mentioned in connection with the 22-year-old.
The Eredivisie powerhouse Feyenoord has set a high asking price for their star striker, who is under contract to them until June 2026.
In the past, it was thought that they were seeking a transfer price of around $30 million, but current rumours indicate that they are now seeking up to $50 million.
Gimenez had a standout 2022–2023 season during which he not only established himself in Europe but also emerged as an important member of the national team after being left out of Mexico's World Cup roster.
In 45 games across all leagues, the striker scored 23 goals for Feyenoord, helping them win the Eredivisie while also advancing to the KNVB Beker semifinals and Europa League quarterfinals.
Then, he finished off a strong season by scoring twice in six Gold Cup games for Mexico, notably the game's lone goal in the 1-0 final victory over Panama.
Although the attacker chose to play for Mexico internationally, he was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He is dating Mexican actress Fer Serrano, who has won over some Feyenoord supporters with her love of football overall and the Eredivisie juggernauts in particular.
