As reported by the Daily Star, the Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal has offered Bernardo Silva, a prominent player for Manchester City, a staggering €930,000 per week.
According to Foot Mercato, Al-Hilal is thought to be the club. The team from Riyadh is now second in the AFC Champions League.
Since coming to Manchester City in 2017 from AS Monaco, Silva has been a fantastic employee. He has currently played 306 times with the Cityzens, tallying 55 goals and 59 assists.
When Pep Guardiola's team won the European treble last season, Bernardo Silva was a vital member of the team. In 55 games across various competitions, the Portuguese midfielder tallied seven goals and contributed eight assists.
He has been rumoured to be leaving, though, for the summer. At Manchester, Silva presently makes £175,000 per year. So, the enormous Saudi Arabian offer might convince him to take part in the Middle East after all.
More recently, the Saudi Pro League has recruited several Premier League players. N'Golo Kante, Eduardo Mendy, and more players that came straight from the Premier League have joined the league.
Karim Benzema, a former star for Real Madrid, is now part of the league. Consequently, more stars may be on the way. A clever player at the peak of his career like Silva may significantly improve the league.
The Manchester City midfielder has recently been linked to a number of teams. In addition to the Saudi Pro League, Paris Saint-Germain and other teams were rumoured to be interested in signing the Portugal star.
Bernardo Silva is a talented person who has won many fans with his outstanding ball-handling skills. He still contributes significantly to the Citizens, so it won't be shocking if he decides to continue his playing days in Europe.
