FIFA bans Al Nassr from registering players after failing to pay add-on money for former player

The Saudi Pro League club failed to pay Leicester City £390,000 for Ahmed Musa
FIFA have banned Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr from registering players after failing to pay an add-on price of around £390,000 for former Leicester City player Ahmed Musa.
The Nigerian forward was signed from the English club in 2018.
It is being reported that the Saudi club was informed back in 2021 that they would have to pay Leicester the amount after Musa was released.
However, it seems that Al Nassr failed to pay the English club and have been punished by FIFA.
The club was also issued a warning that this ban won't be just for one window, but three consecutive transfer windows. This will put a halt to their recruitment.
Now the Saudi Arabia club has time until the end of those three consecutive bans to pay the fee, or else they could be referred to FIFA's Disciplinary Committee.
It is being reported that the club chiefs are confident that the fees will be paid and have intimated that the oversight came before their recent change in the structure after the Public Investment Fund took over.
The club intends to pay and lift their ban, thereby permitting them to bring in a few players.
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al Nassr last season and remains their biggest signing. Marcelo Brozovic was a big name added by the last season's Saudi Pro League runners-up. Hakim Ziyech was another player who was on their wishlist. However, he failed to clear his medical and move didn't take place.
Other Saudi clubs have brought in a few big players and that will increase the competition among these clubs. Al Nassr also needs players to strengthen their side and go for the title.
