Brazilian legend Kaka recalls favourite moment of his football career
The Brazilain has claimed every major trophy in his playing career
Kaká is widely regarded as one of the best players of his era and is occasionally regarded as one of the most outstanding players of all time. He was at AC Milan when he was at the height of his abilities as a playmaker, a time characterised by his inventive passing, goal-scoring, and midfield dribbles.
He was one of nine players who have captured the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the Ballon d'Or thanks to achievements at the club and international levels.
Kaká earned his professional team appearance at the young age of 18 with So Paulo in Brazil in 2001, and thanks to his success there, the Serie A team AC Milan signed him in 2003. In his debut year, Kaká assisted Milan in capturing the Serie A championship in Italy.
Kaká was the leading assist provider during the 2004–2005 UEFA Champions League for Milan, and he was voted the UEFA Club Midfielder of the Year. Milan finished runners-up in the competition. He was the most prolific goal scorer in the competition and helped Milan win the 2006–07 UEFA Champions League.
He won the 2007 Ballon d'Or, the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year, and the FIFA World Player of the Year for his performances. Kaká signed Real Madrid in 2009 for an acquisition fee of €67 million the second-most expensive transfer cost at the time, after spending a six-year stint at Milan.
But following four injury-plagued spells in Spain during which his physical agility drastically deteriorated, he moved to AC Milan for one season in 2013 before joining MLS expansion team Orlando City. These days, he currently plays for the Brazilian club Sao Paulo.
