The Los Blancos warded off rival club Barcelona to land the Turkish prodigy

Arda Guler has reportedly agreed to a contract with Real Madrid that will last until the summer of 2029, per sources from El Larguero. An announcement is about to be made, and the six-year agreement appears to be finalised.

The previous 24 hours were critical in Arda Guler's circumstance. Due in large part to the Turkish prodigy's eagerness to leave this summer, Real Madrid appears to have beaten Barcelona to his signing.

The phenom's transfer to Real Madrid have also received the 'here we go' stamp of approval from Fabrizio Romano.

According to the Italian journalist, only the last few documents need to be verified before the transaction between Los Blancos and Fenerbahce is finalised.

The agreement will include a €20 million fee as well as performance-based add-ons. Additionally, 20% of any future sales of the player will go to Fenerbahce. A physical examination has already been planned.

Guler will be the newest member of the group's elite midfield, which already includes players with names like Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Eduardo Camavinga.

He is considered to be one of the most important midfield core players for at least the upcoming ten years at the age of only 18 years old.

In his brief professional career thus far, the Fenerbahce star has largely played as a midfield attacker. It would be interesting to see if Carlo Ancelotti can find a different way to integrate Güler given the harsh direct rivalry at Real Madrid. On that front, a position on the right flank cannot be considered out.

The midfielder made 20 Super Lig games for his team last year, recording four goals and three assists. Additionally, he executed two vital passes and two dribbles on average in each game and produced seven major chances throughout that time.
