Bayern are open to selling Senegalese forward

A few of the more popular players in the current transfer season who have been linked to a switch to the Middle East is the erstwhile Liverpool great.

After a somewhat lacklustre 12 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions in his debut season with Bayern, Sadio Mane gained notoriety for his physical confrontation with teammate Leroy Sane after a Champions League defeat.

Even though Sadio Mane reportedly declined to explore a move to Saudi Arabia, it became known in May that Bayern were considering bids for him.

Upon taking charge at Al Ettifaq, Steven Gerrard tried to increase Saudi Pro League interest in Sadio Mane, but it is reported that he has now swiftly secured a deal in principle on personal terms with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr.

Mane emphasises that he might not have even considered moving to Saudi Arabia a fortnight ago, thus the decision represents a significant U-turn.

Bayern expects that they won't be able to return the £35 million they spent on Liverpool to recruit Mane, however, they will try to bring in a number that is as near to that amount as they can.

The Bundesliga champions are hopeful that this transaction will move through smoothly and that Sadio Mane will soon sign with Al Nassr.

Bayern Munich is still interested in getting Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, according to sources who spoke to 90min, but Spurs have reportedly continued to refuse to even set a price for their star striker.
