Semih Kilicsoy is a 17-year-old footballer who plays in the topflight division of Turkish football, the Super Lig. He made his debut in the topflight league for Besiktas this season, and has impressed many scouts and players who have earmarked him to have a successful career.
It must be noted that he has not yet attracted attention from clubs around Europe as he has only played one season in topflight football in which he has only made four appearances, he is yet to rack up impressive stats in topflight football. However, there is no denying that the teenager has potential in him to grow.
What are his past experiences like?
Kilicsoy is a youth product of Gop Venüs and Arnavutköy Yaylaspor while playing in amateur Turkish football leagues. He was spotted by Besiktas who singed him in 2016 on a seven-year contact ending in 2023. In his first seven years, Kilicsoy emerged as a prolific goal scorer for Besiktas’s youth sides and reserve squads. Kilicsoy scored 42 goals in 64 appearances for Besiktas’s youth side.
He made his debut for the Besiktas senior team in February. On July 27th, he scored his first goal for the Besiktas senior team against KG Tirana.
Kiliscoy made his debut for Turkey’s under-19 team last year after scoring 9 goals in 13 games for Turkey’s u-17 team.

Kiliscoy is a striker who specialises in finishing in front of goal, he can also play as an attacking midfielder and as a winger on both the sides of the pitch.
He has also been noted for his playmaking in the midfield and has racked up decent amounts of assists in his time playing for Besiktas’s youth teams.
Kiliscoy is a very dynamic striker as he can play with both his feet. This allows him to position himself anywhere on the front third of the pitch as he is not restricted to any side due to his ability to use both his feet. This also enhances his passing and playmaking abilities.
