Sergio Ramos to decide on MLS or Saudi Arabia move in next ten days
The Spanish defender left PSG in the summer
Former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos will decide on his future before the end of July.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish defender could be set for a move to the Major League Soccer or the Saudi Pro League.
Sergio Ramos left PSG in the summer after a non-renewal of his contract. The defender has been considering his options since then. The former Sevilla defender was interested in a return to Andalusia. However, the club faced financial issues and are forced to put their team on the transfer list. Due to a lack of interest from the club, Ramos had to move on.
It was also reported that Flamengo were interested in the player, but Ramos had no intentions to move to Brazil.
There are more chances that the 37-year-old centre-back might move to Saudi Arabia or the USA. His former teammate Sergio Busquets joined Inter Miami in the MLS this season. Jordi Alba is also another former international teammate who is on the verge of moving to America.
Lionel Messi was another player who is known to Ramos and will play in Major League Soccer. The Spanish defender will add another big name to the league.
As far as Saudi Pro League is concerned, he could join his former teammates Cristiano Ronaldo or Karim Benzema.
With seven league titles and four Champions League to his name, Ramos will offer a lot of experience to any side. He played 44 games for PSG in the 2022-23 season and added three goals.
Sergio Ramos could play for at least a couple of years. It is being reported that Al-Ahli are interested in a move for the former Real Madrid captain.
Ramos' future hangs in the air and it remains to be seen if he does indeed head to the Middle East. The Spain legend has already hung up his boots from international football but remains determined to continue playing club football.
