Jamshedpur FC has formally begun its pre-season ahead of the start of the Indian Super League (ISL) 2023-24 season at home in Jamshedpur.
Head Coach Scott Cooper has added several new recruits to the club’s ranks who will look to get acclimated by playing at home along with Assistant Coach Kiza Ramadani, Assistant Coach Noel Wilson and Goalkeeping Coach Dragan Draskovic.
The squad looks refreshed with an injection of new faces such as Alen Stevanovic, Rei Tachikawa, Jeremy Manzorro, Elsinho and Petar Sliskovic as the latest foreign recruits alongside new Indian signings in Wungngayam Muirang, Provat Lakra and Imran Khan.
“Pre-season has been carefully constructed with a periodisation plan,” said Head Coach Scoot Cooper. “A lot of player and staff meetings have taken place to get us all on the same page and week by week we will start leveling up the team in order to get us ready for the first game once the season begins.”
The squad also consists of four players who have progressed from the Jamshedpur Youth teams and the prestigious Tata Football Academy (TFA) namely, Phijam Vikash Singh, Vishal Yadav , Nikhil Barla and Telem Saphaba Singh.
