Argentina announce squad for September FIFA World Cup qualifiers

The World Champions begin their title defence
Argentina will start their World Cup defence against Ecuador in the September international break. They then face Bolivia in the second qualifier.
Lionel Messi and Co. created history by winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The little magician played a significant role in winning probably the biggest honour in football.
They now start their title defence by playing two qualifier matches in the September International break.
Argentina host Ecuador at Estadio Monumental in the first qualifier scheduled on September 8. They then travel to the Estadio Hernando Siles to take on Bolivia on September 12.
The World Champions have played four international friendly matches after the victory in Qatar. They have shown domination and registered wins in every game.
Lionel Messi signed for MLS side Inter Miami in the summer. He is in exceptional form and led his side to the Leagues Cup 2023 win. He has broken quite a few records throughout his career and will look to add more international goals to his name.
Argentina will play the next set of qualifiers in October.
