Reports in France claim that Kylian Mbappe was not invited to Neymar's farewell party at PSG. L'Equipe added that the club captain and Brazilian teammate Marquinhos was present to say goodbye to his friend.
Kylian Mbappe returned to first-team training at PSG as soon as Neymar made it clear about moving to Al-Hilal. This has created a huge controversy because the Frenchman was not even present for the pre-season tour and wanted to leave the club next season.
The whole transfer market in the summer of 2023 was moving around Mbappe. He intended to leave the club once his contract expired in 2024. PSG were worried and listed him in the transfer market.
Mbappe's high market value was one of the worries that the French club had in their mind. Al-Hilal offered a massive contract which the player rejected.
Now Neymar has joined the same club that wished to sign Mbappe.
With the departure of Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappe is the biggest name in this PSG squad. His World Cup heroics and goal-scoring ability make him one of the best players in the world.
PSG had these three players in their team for two seasons. They were aiming to win the Champions League but failed to do so. Fans were also upset with the European performance and showed their unhappiness last season.
This season, PSG have signed a few players and strengthened their team. This young brigade is preparing for success in the future.
Kylian Mbappe is likely to remain at PSG and will lead their squad. He will also try to win the Champions League under Luis Henrique. Neymar has gone to one of the biggest clubs in Saudi Arabia and will look to show his skills against some of the biggest names.
