Jadon Sancho could leave in January

Jadon Sancho is now already seeing his future somewhere else in just two years after joining a club where he was expected to make his name. The forward could look to leave Manchester United in January after his cold war with manager Erik ten Hag failed to settle their differences.

Since arriving at United his form has been erratic, under Ole, Ralf Ragnick and now ten Hag the England International has failed to translate his Borussia Dortmund performance at United.

The Manchester United manager has been patient with Sancho and feels he will improve at some point and was even sent to train alone to find his form but things have now turned sour between the manager and player.

It all started with the Dutch manager omitted Sancho from the squad which faced Arsenal and the game culminated with the Gunners eeking out a win in injury time as they secured a 3-1 win.

During the press conference the former Ajax head coach was questioned regarding Sancho's selection and Ten Hag revealed the England international performance failed to convince him to be included in the squad.

Jadon Sancho was quick to counter those claims and took to X (formerly known as Twitter), with the 23-year-old forward claiming to have been made a “scapegoat”.

Sancho and his club's manager have spoken, and according to the Daily Star, a breakup now seems to be likely. The most likely scenario is for a loan arrangement to be reached in January, with the possibility of a long-term change being pushed through in the summer of 2024.

Any change will put an end to Sancho's dismal tenure at United. The highly regarded wideman lost the position in Gareth Southgate's England team after joining for £75 million ($94m) in 2021 from Bundesliga powerhouses Borussia Dortmund. He has scored just 12 goals in 82 outings.
