The Reds were the runners-up in 2015-16 campaign

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has announced the squad for the upcoming UEFA Europa League campaign in 2023-24. The Reds return to the competition after making their last appearance in the 2015-16 season.

Jurgen Klopp and his men had to settle for a fifth-place finish in the Premier League 2022-23 table. After finishing as the runners-up in the previous season, this was a disappointing end to their campaign.

This will be Liverpool's fifth appearance in the Europa League. They have made it to the semi-final as well as the final of the competition.

The Reds played in the UEFA Champions League last season. They were knocked out in the round of 16. The six-time UEFA Champions League and European Cup winner are looking for their fourth Europa League, which was earlier known as the UEFA Cup.

Jurgen Klopp has named a strong squad for the upcoming campaign. New signings Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will make their debut in Europe for the English club.

The likes of Harvey Elliott & Stefan Bajcetic feature on the 'B' list.

The Reds are in Group 'E' along with Austrian club LASK, French side Toulouse and Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise. They are the favourites to win the record and that too with a 100% record. The team will travel away to LASK for their first match of the campaign.
