Premier League 2023-24: All award winners for August

Here are the award winners from the first month of the Premier League season
Player of the Month: James Maddison
Although netting in every game in August, James Maddison won the Premier League Player of the Month title over Nigeria's Taiwo Awoniyi.
James Maddison of Tottenham took home the Premier League's Player of the Month award for August, besting rivals Taiwo Awoniyi of Nigeria and Bryan Mbeumo of Cameroon.
During the initial three matches of the season that followed, Maddison had a stellar month as he adapted to his surroundings at the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium. He scored once and provided two assists for Spurs.
Save of the Month: Allison Becker
As part of Liverpool's 2-1 triumph against Newcastle United at St. James' Park last month, the No. 1 custodian made an outstanding save on a Miguel Almiron shot to win the award.
During the first half, Alisson made a pivotal intervention by reacting quickly to deflect the forward's volley and scoop away the rebound, preventing the home team from taking a 2-0 lead.
Later, Liverpool came back from behind with 10 men and earned three points thanks to a late double from substitute Darwin Nunez.
Manager of the Month: Ange Postecoglou
The Premier League Manager of the Month for August honours Ange Postecoglou.
Ange was hired as the club's head manager back in June, and he has had a nearly ideal start to life in the Premier League. As a result, Tottenham have finished second in the standings going into the September international break.
The Australian joined the club from Celtic when in his two seasons as manager, he had guided the Glasgow team to five of six potential domestic titles. He has imported his front-footed, high-pressing, offensive approach to north London, and it has already had a positive effect.
Goal of the Month: Kaoru Mitoma
Kaoru Mitoma, a winger who plays for Brighton & Hove Albion, has been named the Premier League Goal of the Month for August.
By producing an incredible individual goal in Brighton's 4-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 19, the 26-year-old became the very first Japanese player to ever take home the coveted individual award.
Mitoma is additionally the first member of the Brighton team to receive the accolade since erstwhile forward Alireza Jahanbakhsh won it in January 2020.
