Exactly seven days after making his debut with the first team and playing the last few minutes of the Barca-Betis game, he once again experienced a day he will never forget. He was given a chance to play for the reserve team of Barcelona (Barca Atletic) by Rafa Marquez, he came on in the 66th minute against Eldense and became the youngest player to debut with Barca Atletic.

He was 15 years, 9 months, and 21 days when he broke the record. The idea of the first team coach, Xavi, was that Lamine Yamal would continue to play in the dynamic with the big teams and get more experience before becoming an integral part of his squad.

Last week's Sunday afternoon Laliga duel between Villarreal CF and FC Barcelona was a thriller, which finished 4-3 to the Catalan side. The match saw some historic performances, Lamal started the match and it took him only 12 minutes to assist Gavi in the opening goal.

After his assist, he became the youngest LaLiga assist provider in the 21st century at 16 years and 45 days (against Villarreal), surpassing Juanmi Jimenez (16 years and 311 days). Lamal was applauded by the home fans of Villareal who really appreciated the youngster's performance.

Youngest debutant for the Spanish national team

Earlier this week after turning in a handful of star showings for Barcelona this season, Yamal was included in Luis de la Fuente's squad for the UEFA Euro Qualifiers. He didn't start the match against Georgia but came on as a sub in the first half to replace Dani Olmo.

He made his debut on September 8, 2023, at the age of 16 years and 57 days, breaking the record previously held by Gavi (17 years and 62 days). Yamal's debut with the Spanish national team was a sign of great things to come for the young player, he is sure to continue to impress in the years to come and make a name for himself in the world of football.

Youngest goal scorer with the Spanish national team

Lamine Yamal became the youngest debutant and the youngest goal scorer on the same night against Georgia. He took the youngest player record from Gavi, who was 17 years and 62 days old when he made his Spain debut in 2021.

In the 74th minute, two youngsters combined for a goal, Nico Williams assisted Yamal in creating history when he scored the seventh goal for Spain in a 7-1 thumping win over Georgia. The future is bright for the Spaniard and a lot of records on his sight can be broken by the youngster.
