Dortmund are currently eighth in Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly experienced tensions due to the team's disappointing start to the season, according to Sport1.

Dortmund are still undefeated, but following their 2-2 tie with Heidenheim, the supporters have started to turn against the squad. Following the draw, the team was jeered off the ground as fans vented their resentment on the players, the manager, and the board of directors.

Throughout the contest against Heidenheim, Dortmund laboured late on and periodically appeared out of shape. While manager Edin Terzic has thus far failed to forge a playing identity within the club this campaign, his player strategic choices have not been successful.

Under what's happening at Dortmund, tensions have increased off the pitch. According to rumours, Terzic, Sebastian Kehl, and Hans-Joachim Watzke do not agree on all club-related issues.

It became evident in the summer after Terzic blocked Kehl's attempts to recruit Edson Lvarez and chose Emre Can instead. Lvarez and Kehl had even established a personal agreement.

As a result of Dortmund failing to sign a quality replacement for Jude Bellingham and failing to strengthen other weak areas despite receiving €103 million for the Englishman, conflicts in squad management have gotten worse at the start of the season.

On Friday, Niclas Füllkrug marked his debut for Borussia Dortmund, but he was unable to stop the team from blowing a two-goal advantage as promotion Heidenheim rallied to draw 2-2 and earn its first Bundesliga point.

At the end of the game, angry with their team for failing to take advantage of more opportunities in a mistake-filled performance, Dortmund fans whistled at their players. Following a lucky victory over Cologne to start the season, Dortmund has now drawn two games in a row.
