ISL Fantasy Guru: How your team should look like in Gameweek 3
The teams performed poorly and could gather only 29 points in the ISL Gameweek 2
In gameweek 2 of the ISL, Mohun Bagan secured a narrow 1-0 victory over a Bengaluru FC side reduced to 9 players in Kolkata. Kerala Blasters also managed to win their match with a 1-0 scoreline, this time against Jamshedpur FC.
Meanwhile, East Bengal staged a dramatic comeback, scoring in the very last moments to secure a 2-1 victory against Hyderabad FC, thanks to a Cleiton Silva freekick. NorthEast United secured their first 3 points of the season with a convincing win over Chennaiyin FC. In Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai City FC and Odisha FC played to a 2-2 draw. Lastly, FC Goa started their campaign with a scrappy 1-0 victory against newcomers Punjab FC.

Gameweek 2 review
Fantasy ISL's Gameweek 2 turned out to be a disappointment for us. Prabhsukhan Gill, the chosen goalkeeper, only earned 1 point. In the defense category, Anwar Ali performed relatively better with 5 points, while Yaser Hamed, Akash Mishra, and Jose Pardo collectively managed to secure 4 points.
The midfielders didn't fare much better, as Vice Captain Noah Sadaoui, Mohammed Yasir, and Sahal collectively only contributed 8 points to the team's score.
In the striker department, Joe Knowles made a notable contribution with 5 points, thanks to his assist in the first goal against East Bengal. However, Captain Dimi Petratos had a forgettable night against BFC, missing a clear goal-scoring opportunity. Lallianzuala Chhangte also struggled to make an impact in terms of goal involvement during the match against Odisha FC, signaling that he might not be in his best form.
Overall, Gameweek 2 was marked by underwhelming performances across different positions in the fantasy ISL lineup.
Gameweek 2 transfers
East Bengal is still a team that's evolving, and it's expected that they might face challenges and poor results during their development. With players like Chhununga available and the addition of summer signing Hijazi Maher, there could be changes in the team's defensive setup under Carles Cuadrat.

For Gameweek 3, it's advisable to make a transfer by replacing Jose Pardo. Prabir Das should be considered as a suitable replacement, especially because Kerala Blasters have displayed a solid defensive performance in their first two games. Prabir Das has been a standout player, contributing both defensively and offensively for the Kochi-based team. While Kerala Blasters may have struggled to score goals, their defense has been reliable. Therefore, it makes sense to bring in Prabir Das in place of Jose Pardo in your fantasy ISL squad.
Gameweek 3 team
Prabhsukhan Gill is an undisputed starter for East Bengal for the goalkeeper position, given his impressive shot-stopping abilities. He's expected to earn valuable points by making crucial saves and possibly keeping a clean sheet against Bengaluru FC where the Red and Gold have done well historically.

This defensive lineup consists of experienced and promising defenders from various teams. Prabir and Akash Mishra are known for their ability to contribute both defensively and offensively. The defensive duo of Anwar Ali and Sandesh Jhinghan can accumulate points through clean sheets and potential assists or goals from set-pieces.
The midfield quartet offers a combination of creativity and goal scoring prowess. Noah, chosen as the vice-captain, is expected to be a playmaker, providing assists and creating goal-scoring opportunities. Yasir and Sahal are also expected to do the same for their respective teams.Phalguni Singh is a promising young talent with the potential to make and having had a goal and an assist to his name in 2 games.

Dimi Petratos, given the captain armband, is the marquee player in the lineup. He is known for his goal-scoring ability and playmaking skills. Knowles is another key forward, who showed glimpses of his all round game against East Bengal.
On the bench, there is a solid backup goalkeeper in Mirshad Michu, ensuring that the team has goalkeeping options. Yaser Hamed provides defensive cover and versatility, if NEUFC boss Benauli decides to bench Zabaco. Mohammed Nemil adds depth to the midfield with his potential to impact the game, and Lallianzuala Chhangte has started all the four games in the ISL and the AFC Champions League but has been poor with his goal cintribution so far .
This bench offers a mix of defensive stability and attacking flair, providing the team with strategic options to adapt to different in-game situations in Fantasy ISL Gameweek 3.
