The ISL is back after a 2-week hiatus due to the international break, and it's good news that no Indian players have reported any injuries during their time with the national team. Now, let's take a look at the results from Gameweek 3, which set the stage for the league's return for gameweek 4.

In gameweek 3 of the Indian Super League (ISL), several exciting matches unfolded. Bengaluru FC secured their first victory of the season by defeating East Bengal, a team now led by their former manager, Carles Cuadrat. Jamshedpur FC also clinched their first win by beating Hyderabad FC at the Furnace. Punjab FC and NorthEast United played out an entertaining 1-1 draw at Delhi, with the National Capital Territory hosting an ISL game for the first time in five years.
Goa managed to edge past Odisha FC with a thrilling last-minute goal by Jay Gupta, resulting in a 3-2 scoreline. Meanwhile, Mohun Bagan Super Giant continued their impressive streak by defeating Chennaiyin FC 3-1.
The week concluded with a match between Mumbai City FC and Kerala Blasters, with Mumbai winning 2-1. However, during injury time, a chaotic situation unfolded, leading to red cards for Yoell Van Nieff and Milos Drincic. Additionally, Prabir Das was suspended by the AIFF disciplinary committee for allegedly making contact with the referee while protesting a decision.
Gameweek 3 review
In ISL Fantasy Gameweek 3, the team performed reasonably well, accumulating a total of 42 points. However, there were some disappointments, especially in the defensive department. goalkeeper Prabhsukhan Gill managed to score only 1 point, conceding 2 goals against Bengaluru FC. The defensive quartet, consisting of Prabir Das, Sandesh Jhingan, Anwar Ali, and Akash Mishra, collectively scored only 4 points. Prabir Das and Jhingan ended up with 0 points, while Anwar and Akash earned 2 points each.

In the midfield, Vice Captain Noah Sadoui was the standout performer with 11 points, and Sahal Abdul Samad contributed 8 points. Phalguni Singh and Mohammed Yasir both managed to secure 2 points each.
The attacking duo, consisting of captain Petratos and Knowles, earned a combined total of 14 points, with Petratos contributing 12 of those points.
Overall, it was a mixed performance in Gameweek 3, with notable strengths in the midfield and attack, but defence was a visible let down.
Gameweek 4 transfer
Jamshedpur FC have emerged as a surprise package in the current edition of the ISL, and their performance in the previous two games has solidified this reputation. While the marquee signing of Alen Stevanovic has undoubtedly been a significant addition, the inclusion of Japanese player Rei Tachikawa has brought a fresh and exciting dimension to the team.

However, this positive development has meant that NorthEast United FC's Phalguni Singh, who typically plays as a defensive midfielder, has had to make way in the ISL Fantasy lineup.
Gameweek 4 Lineup
In ISL Fantasy Gameweek 4, there will be only four games played, as Mumbai City FC, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, and Odisha FC have other commitments in their respective AFC competitions. As a result, these three teams, along with Bengaluru FC, will not be participating in the upcoming gameweek.
Considering this scenario, a maximum of 9 players will be available for selection in the upcoming gameweek. East Bengal's Prabhsukhan Gill is replaced by Mirshad Michu in goal, as East Bengal is still in the process of determining their best defensive combinations.

In the midfield, Noah Sadoui will wear the captain's armband, and the other midfielders in the lineup include Nemil, Mohammed Yasir, and Rei. Sahal Abdul Samad will be absent from the lineup.
Upfront, Joe Knowles will lead the attack on his own, as Dimi Petratos, along with Sahal and Anwar, will not be available for the game due to their teams' absence in this gameweek.
Unfortunately, Prabhsukhan Gill will have to be placed on the bench, and Lallianzuala Chhangte, Prabir Das, and Akash Mishra will not be available for selection in the upcoming gameweek due to the reasons mentioned earlier.
