Subroto Cup semifinal matches will be played in Delhi
The U-17 category of the 62nd Subroto Cup has reached the semifinal stage. Following their triumph in the quarterfinals, the top four teams in the tournament have secured their spots in the semi final clash.
In the quarter final round, Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 37 B, Chandigarh, T.G English Medium School, Manipur, Govt. Haulawang High School, Haulawang, Lunglei, Mizoram and Amenity Public School, Rudrapur, Uttrakhand won their respective matches to enter the next round.
Subroto Cup 2023: Quarter Final results
Match 1: Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 37 B, Chandigarh beat M.I.C English Medium H.S, Athanikal, Malappuram, Kerala beat Govt. by 1-0 goal.
Match 2: T.G English Medium School, Manipur beat Sanjeevan Vidhyaniketan, Kolhapur, Maharashtra by 4-0 goals.
Match 3: Govt. Haulawang High School, Haulawang, Lunglei, Mizoram beat Mother International School, Zahir, Brambey, Ranchi, Jharkhand by 2-0 goals.
Match 4: Amenity Public School, Rudrapur, Uttrakhand (CBSE) beat Bampather Bengenabari H.S.S, Aideobari, Assam by 3-0 goals
Subroto Cup 2023: Semi-Final fixture
The semi-final matches will be played on Saturday at the Ambedkar Stadium, Delhi.

Birramjit
All attention will be directed towards Birramjit from T.G English Medium School, Manipur. The young student showcased an outstanding performance during the quarter-final round, scoring three goals against Sanjeevan Vidhyaniketan, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Undoubtedly, he will strive to maintain his performance in the upcoming semifinal round.
Boinao
Boinao is a promising emerging player who represents Amenity Public School in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. During today's quarter-final match, as the game approached a goalless conclusion, Boinao skillfully overcame the defenders of the opposing team and scored a magnificent goal, enabling his team to secure the lead. This goal was also followed by another goal by the young talent in the next eight minutes of play.
