Five players from the champion team of Chandigarh in the list

The 62nd edition of the Subroto Cup concluded with the U-17 boys category. During the tournament, numerous players from different teams showcased exceptional skills that garnered attention from sports enthusiasts all across the country.

Notably, the Government Model Senior Secondary School of Chandigarh emerged as the champions of the tournament after prevailing over Amenity Public School from Uttarakhand with a 5-3 penalty scoreline.

In this article we will look at the U-17 Boys Category of the 62nd Subroto Cup.

Rohit (Goalkeeper) – Chandigarh

Rohit, the recipient of the Best Goalkeeper award in the U-17 boys category at the 62nd Subroto Cup, is undoubtedly poised to take his position at the goalpost and safeguard the net.

His exceptional performance in the final match, skillfully blocking several strikes from the opposing team, proved instrumental in taking the game into a thrilling penalty shootout, ultimately resulting in their victorious triumph.

Nikhil (Right Back) – Uttarakhand

Nikhil will assume control of the defensive line while stationed at the right back position, overseeing and effectively managing the right flank.

Paras (Centre Back) – Chandigarh

Para will assume the responsibility at the central defensive position, from where he will endeavor to neutralize the opposing team's offensive threat and seek essential interventions.

Anshu (Centre Back) – Chandigarh

Anshu displayed exceptional defensive skills, particularly when it came to thwarting the opponent's attacks within the penalty area. His courageous demeanor became a topic of discussion during matches and greatly contributed to his team's ability to stifle the opponent's offense in the majority of games.
