Barcelona continues to struggle financially

Barcelona's financial problems are widely known, and the team hopes to raise significant money by selling Camp Nou's old seats.

The LaLiga giants are now renovating their renowned home, with the Espai Barca project poised to propel the legendary Catalan arena roaring into the twenty-first century.

However, the cost of that building project will not be cheap—it is estimated that €1.5 billion (£1.3 billion/$1.6 billion) would be spent on bricks and mortar.

Barcelona have secured the funding necessary to finish that project, but they still need to find additional revenue streams to support the group's finances. In 2021, they were compelled to let go of Lionel Messi since they lacked the funds to sign the renowned Argentine star to a new deal.

The Blaugrana want to get as much mileage out of demolishing Camp Nou and beginning anew. Now, supporters can own a piece of history of their own by purchasing a seat from Barca's official store, possibly along with some debris thrown in.

The most costly options, which contain a wooden frame, cost €299.99, while the least expensive ones, which are fixed on a black base, cost $99.99.

Barcelona have already started to sell the turf chunks that were torn up when the new Spotify Camp Nou was being built. The current Spanish champions have unveiled a video that showcases the final design of their lavishly constructed stadium after construction is finished.

Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see what other concepts the club comes up with in an effort to enhance its financial contribution. especially considering that the club's issues have caused them to suffer in the transfer market.
