Jadon Sancho's Man United career is 'finished' even if apologises to Erik ten Hag
The English winger could return to Dortmund if he leaves United in January
Even if the winger, who cost Manchester United £73 million, chews his ego and apologises to Erik ten Hag, Jadon Sancho's time at the club is over, according to reports.
Jadon Sancho, 24, has missed United's last nine games (including the match against Sheffield United) after accusing Ten Hag of lying on social media after the Reds manager revealed that he had benched the England player due to a behavioural issue.
Until he receives a written apology, Ten Hag has banned the former Borussia Dortmund attacker from the first-team locker room.
The Dutchman believes that his connection with Sancho is now irreparably damaged and that the team has to discuss a player exit strategy in January.
When Ten Hag urged his executives to fire Cristiano Ronaldo from Old Trafford last year after the Portuguese sensation had disparaged him in an unauthorised TV appearance with Piers Morgan, they received his full support. Sancho will soon experience the same fate.
After failing to sell Sancho to Al-Ettifaq, United is attempting to revive their move to Saudi Arabia by asking that any loan arrangement contain a £45 million obligation to buy. It can be not easy to recover a sizable amount from another source.
In a touchline altercation with Ajax youngster Noa Lang four years ago, he authorised the teen's loan transfer to Twente for the remainder of the season before insisting on his sale to Club Brugge in Belgium the next summer.
