Saudi Pro League defending champions Al Ittihad will take on Iranian side Sepahan in their second match of the 2023-24 AFC Champions League.

Al Ittihad started their campaign with a 3-0 win over AGMK at home. Haroune Camara scored the opening goal and Romarinho scored a brace in the first half to seal the deal for their side. The defending champions are second in the Saudi Pro League group table, trailing by one point to Al Hilal.

Sepahan, on the other hand, had to settle for a 2-2 draw away at Quwa Al Jawiya. They conceded the first goal and then hit two back to take the lead. A goal in the 88th minute for the opposition ended the match with a point each for both teams.

These two teams have played in the AFC Champions League twice in the group stage in 2016. Al Ittihad won both matches and are the favourites to take three points from this game.
