Stephanie Frappart set to become first female referee to officiate at Wembley

Stephanie Frappart becomes first female referee to officiate men's game
At the 2014 Men's World Cup, Stephanie Frappart became the very first woman to officiate a game.
She is going to advance in her professional life as a trailblazer when she conducts the men's match between Australia and England.
When she assumed responsibility for Germany's 4-2 victory over Costa Rica in Qatar, the Frenchwoman continued her streak of making history and experienced a significant career boost.
Then later this week at Wembley Stadium, she will make history as the first female referee to referee an international men's game.
Referee Stephanie Frappart, who is 39 years old, has had a significant influence on female referees all over the world throughout her career.
She has a long list of amazing firsts to her credit, and her name is all over the record books.
Stephanie Frappart began her career as a referee in the French third level in 2011, and three years later she advanced to Ligue 2, being the only female to ever do so.
The Frenchwoman was afterwards chosen to officiate the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada with a full roster of female referees.
Upon getting re-called for the Women's World Cup in 2019, Frappart earned the first female referee in Ligue 1. She was going to be chosen to officiate the competition's grand finale.
The following year, when the French official was chosen to oversee the men's UEFA Super Cup, this would pave the way for even bigger triumphs.
Stephanie Frappart did this to become the first female official in a men's Champions League match before obtaining the first female referee to take control of a men's European match.
She was then selected to officiate the 2022 Coupe de France Final, where Nantes defeated Nice 1-0 at the Stade de France in May.
