Wales are struggling to qualify for Euro 2024

Wales manager Rob Page has announced the squad for the upcoming two fixtures during the October international break.

They face Gibraltar in an international friendly and then the Welsh team takes in Croatia in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifier.

The Welsh team is currently sitting fourth in the Group D of the qualifiers. They have won two, drawn one and lost two matches in the qualifier stage. Goal-scoring has been an issue for the Welsh side and they have managed to score six times.

Players in the Welsh national team mostly play in the English first and second divisions. There are also a couple of players who make it to the squad from the Scottish Premiership.

Charlie Savage and Owen Beck have received their first senior team call-ups, stepping up from the U21s, while Luke Harris and Dylan Levitt return to the squad after missing out last month.

Aaron Ramsey, Brennan Johnson and Morgan Fox are unavailable due to injury, while Regan Poole receives his first senior team call-up since 2019.
