FanCode to livestream FIFA U-17 World Cup in India

FanCode, India’s premier sports destination, will exclusively livestream the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup 2023 in India. The tournament kicks off today (November 10) and will culminate with the crowning of the champions in Surakarta, Indonesia, on December 2, 2023.
FanCode has sub-licensed the exclusive digital rights for FIFA U-17 World Cup from 1Stadia. This collaboration marks a continued partnership between 1Stadia and FanCode, following the successful securing of digital rights for the FIFA Women’s World Cup earlier.

This year’s tournament will be exciting, as it features four former champions, including defending champions Brazil, England – who won the historic edition in India, France, and Mexico. Notably, Indonesia, the host nation, makes its debut in the U-17 World Cup, promising a unique and memorable experience for football fans in the country.
As many Indian football fans will remember, India hosted the 2017 edition of the tournament, which captured the imagination of the whole country.
The 24 participating teams in the U-17 World Cup are Argentina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Canada, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Indonesia, IR Iran, Japan, Korea Republic, Mali, Mexico, Morocco, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Senegal, Spain, USA, Uzbekistan and Venezuela.
The U-17 World Cup is the breeding ground of future champions and some of the greats who have featured previously in the tournament include the likes of Luís Figo, Francesco Totti, Ronaldinho, Xavi, Andrés Iniesta, Neymar, Victor Osimhen, and Phil Foden.
Some of the stars to look forward to in this year’s edition include England’s Ethan Nwaneri, who made headlines after his senior debut for Arsenal at the age of 15, Argentina captain Claudio Echeverri who has been dubbed as the next Messi, France’s Mathis Lambourde who’s known for his electric pace and made two senior appearances for Rennes, Spain’s Marc Guiu and Germany’s Noah Darvich.
