Renowned freestyle footballers Aguska & Patrick entertain Srinagar locals with their skills
Aguska is from Poland and Patrick, who plays for Preston North End, is from Germany.
Renowned freestyle footballers, Aguska Mnich and Patrick Baurer, captivated the local audience at the Ghanta Ghar in Lal Chowk, Srinagar on December 18, 2023 as they showcased their extraordinary juggling skills, leaving the spectators in awe.
A video of both the individuals went viral on social media where the audiences were seen enjoying their presence on the street and recording videos of the same on their personal devices.
Aguska, a five-time world champion and two-time European champion, expressed her delight at being in Kashmir. She spoke about her appreciation of the warm hospitality and the pleasant atmosphere in the region. She said, “We are delighted to be present in this location. The individuals here graciously extend their warm welcome, and the climate is truly exceptional. We hold great admiration for this city. The locals have expressed their desire to meet us; however, due to time constraints, we regret that we were unable to accommodate everyone. We hold a profound appreciation for the city, its inhabitants, their generous hospitality, and the surrounding environment.”
“The city itself is nothing short of breathtaking, with Dal Lake standing out as an exceptional gem. Our experience was flawless in every aspect. We sincerely hope that more individuals have the opportunity to visit this splendid location and encounter its remarkable inhabitants,” she added.
Patrick, who is also a professional footballer from Germany and plays as a centre-back for Preston North End, also expressed his admiration for the surrounding area, emphasizing its exquisite beauty. He stated, “I am delighted to be present in Kashmir and showcase our abilities. Our experience in this region has been immensely enjoyable. The beauty of this place, coupled with the charm of its inhabitants and cuisine, has made our stay truly delightful. The allure of this city is undeniable, and we have thoroughly relished every moment spent here.”
