Have successfully put together blend of young & experienced players: Inter Kashi boss Carlos Santamarina
The coach said that they are adopting a game-by-game approach.
Inter Kashi has performed remarkably well in their inaugural season in the I-League. Out of the eight matches they have played so far, they have emerged victorious in three, while the remaining five have resulted in two draws and three defeats.
They are currently placed eighth in the points table, accumulating a total of eleven points. This achievement can be solely attributed to the player’s commendable commitment to the team and their extraordinary on-field performance.
Inter Kashi from Varanasi is scheduled to face TRAU in their upcoming match in the league. Given that TRAU is currently positioned at the bottom of the points table, there is a significant opportunity for Inter Kashi FC to secure three additional points in their next fixture.
In the pre-match press conference, both coach Carlos Santamarina and player Sumeet Passi exuded a strong sense of optimism when discussing their upcoming game against the formidable opponent.
Preparation for the next match
When asked about facing TRAU and the team’s preparation for the same, coach Carlos Santamarina replied, “It is important to note that we are diligently preparing for each upcoming game, adopting a game-by-game approach. Our team is highly motivated and putting in great effort. We appreciate the quality of the playing field, as it benefits our performance.”
“However, we must acknowledge the excellent work being done by our opponents, despite their lower standing in the league. I have advised our players to respect their capabilities, as they possess a skilled team with talented individuals who can prove to be game-changers”, he added.
Confidence of the team
No doubt, the players of Inter Kashi have displayed a great deal of confidence when confronting their opponents. Their current standing in the points tally provides a clear indication of their success. As a newly formed team, they have excelled in all aspects of the game.
Carlos stated, “I have already informed you that we have formed a new team this season. Our team has been built from scratch, and we have successfully put together a remarkable blend of young and experienced players. They exhibit an immense amount of dedication and hard work during our training sessions, demonstrating their passion for the game.”
“I have complete faith in them and consistently remind them that they have my unwavering trust, without any doubts”, he added further.
Expectation from the match against TRAU
On a question regarding the expectation from the upcoming game, Sumeet Passi replied, “We all share a common objective of securing three points. Therefore, our sole expectation revolves around achieving this outcome. It is imperative that we adhere to our established style of play, characterized by a high level of intensity.”
“Deviating from this approach could have negative consequences for us. With that being said, our primary focus remains on attaining the desired three points” he stated further.
