Daniel Chima Chukwu became the second Jamshedpur FC player to score a hat-trick.

Jamshedpur FC thoroughly outplayed Hyderabad FC at their home ground, the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad, securing a 5-0 victory.

Daniel Chima Chukwu initiated the action for Jamshedpur by scoring a goal in the second minute of the match. Subsequently, he secured his second goal at the 20th minute. As a result, Hyderabad maintained a 2-0 lead at the conclusion of the first half.

In the latter part of the match, Seiminlen Doungel secured the third goal in the 70th minute, while Jonathan Moya scored an own goal in the 74th minute, contributing to Jamshedpur’s commanding four-goal lead. In the 79th minute, Chima put the game to bed by netting his third, thereby grabbing a hat-trick.

Here are the player ratings for the game:

Hyderabad FC (By Gourav Samal)

Laxmikant Kattimani – 5.5

Kattimani appeared completely outwitted during the game. From the lackluster defense to his attempts to regain control, the game never seemed to be within his grasp.

Nikhil Poojary – 7

Nikhil distinguished himself as the most outstanding member of the Hyderabad team. He delivered an exceptional cross in the first half, albeit it was not successfully converted.

Chinglensana Singh – 6

Chinglensana’s performance was subpar in terms of tackles and clearances during the match, often being outplayed by Jamshedpur FC’s forwards.

Nim Dorjee Tamang – 6

Nim demonstrated a deficiency in man-marking and controlling the attacks while on the field.

Mark Zothanpuia – 6.5

Zo displayed greater promise in the latter part of the game; however, as Jamshedpur continued to score, his confidence seemed to wane.

Mohammad Yasir – 6.5

Yasir had multiple opportunities in the midfield to take shots on target, but regrettably, he was unable to find the back of the net even once.

Joao Victor – 6

Victor lacked composure while making the final touches to find the back of the net and score a goal for his side.

Petteri Pennanen – 6.5

Pennanen only managed to take a single shot on target during the entire match, and that too, was easily blocked by Jamshedpur FC keeper TP Rehenesh. Aside from this attempt, he did not pose a significant threat on the field.

Sahil Tavora – 6

Sahil exhibited promise at various points during the initial half of the game, yet he encountered a dearth of support from his teammates throughout the match.

Joseph Knowles – 6

Knowles was replaced in the 55th minute due to an injury. He glanced a shot on target in the first half but it was stopped by Rehenesh.

Jonathan Moya – 5

Moya inadvertently scored an own goal while going for a clearance, extending Jamshedpur’s lead to four goals.

Substitutes

Abdul Rabeeh – 6.5

Rabeeh substituted Knowles in the 55th minute of the match. He demonstrated proficiency in executing short passes, however, he encountered difficulty in maneuvering past the defenders to advance into the final third and generate scoring opportunities.

Ramhlunchhunga – 6

Ramhlunchhunga had few minutes on the field but he exhibited serious challenges while defending during the dying minutes of the game.

Makan Chothe – 5

Chothe substituted Moya in the 78th minute of the match. Although he had insufficient time to demonstrate his abilities, he was unable to pose any threat to the opposition during the short cameo.

Jamshedpur FC (By JN Balraj)

TP Rehenesh – 6.5

Rehenesh was shaky in the first half, but luckily Hyderabad FC attackers couldn’t benefit from it. With time he got going, registering one save in the game.

Pratik Chaudhari – 6.5

Pratik was the busiest defender for the guest side, credit to Knowles. He was involved in six duels and did well to keep the attackers at bay.

Elsinho – 7

Elsinho was tall and sturdy at the back. He made five interceptions and two clearances to help his side keep the clean-sheet.

Laldinpuia – 8

The youngster has been a silent performer in Scott Cooper’s lineup this season. Dinpuia was, undoubtedly, the best defender on the pitch.

Jitendra Singh – 6.5

The composed midfielder can make more impact in upcoming games if he picks up better options during distribution. Overall, Jitu was excellent with his passing as he completed 26 passes with 93% accuracy.

Nikhil Barla – 7

The TFA cadet assisted Chima’s hat-trick goal. Nikhil attempted nine crosses on the night.

Jeremy Manzorro – 7.5

The Frenchman skied a sitter in front of an open goal. Apart from that, he created two chances and ran the game in midfield.

Rei Tachikawa – 6.5

The Japanese trickster created one chance and attempted a shot that he could have scored on any other day. He registered two tackles as well.

Imran Khan – 7

Imran assisted the opening goal and was a livewire in attack. He looked less threatening as the game progressed but he had already made the impact by then.

Mohammed Sanan – 6.5

Sanan supported Daniel Chima Chukwu with his smart runs to offload defenders. He looked hurried at times and could have scored if he held his composure.

Daniel Chima Chukwu – 9

Became the second player to score a hat-trick for Jamshedpur FC after Greg Stewart. Notably, Chukwu scored a goal of the season contender bicycle kick from the edge of the box with beautiful chest control. He also created two chances and was denied a goal, courtesy of an offside decision.

Substitutes

Len Doungel – 7

Len scored a perfect curler from outside the box to provide cushion to his side’s defence. He also won a foul for his side.
