Ratings: Krishna, Vanlalruatfela power Odisha FC to cruise over Jamshedpur FC

With a clinical performance, Odisha FC defeated Jamshedpur FC by 4-1 to register their seventh win in this season Indian Super League (ISL) at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
In the first half, Jamshedpur FC secured an early advantage in the match as Rei Tachikawa scored a goal in the 23rd minute. Subsequently, Odisha promptly responded with an equalizing goal in the 27th minute by Isak Vanlalruatfela.
Roy Krishna extended the lead with a goal in the 36th minute, followed by Diego Mauricio’s successful penalty conversion in the 45+2nd minute. In the waning moments of the first half, Roy netted his second goal of the match in the 45+3rd minute, propelling Odisha FC to a commanding 4-1 lead.
The second half concluded without any goals, allowing Odisha FC to secure a comfortable victory and ascend to the second position in the points table with 24 points from 12 matches.

Amrinder Singh – 6.5
Although Amrinder had less threat towards his end in the match, he managed them well with proper collections.
Amey Ranawade – 7
Ranwade flattered at the beginning of the match but gained confidence as the match progressed.
Narender Gahlot – 7
Gahlot displayed considerable effort during the match to effectively neutralize the threats posed by the opponent, consistently prevailing with precise clearances.
Carlos Delgado – 7.5
Carlos consistently and promptly responded whenever the ball entered the danger area, consistently attempting to clear it, successfully doing so on the majority of occasions.
Jerry Lalrinzuala – 7
Jerry employed a straightforward approach during the match, timely executing accurate passes and neutralizing any potential threats effectively.
Lalthathanga Khawlhring – 7
Puitea performed admirably on the field and presented a formidable presence during the first half, but waned in influence during the second half of the game.
Ahmed Jahouh – 7.5
Jahouh consistently positioned himself at the center of the game, diligently seeking opportunities to generate scoring chances and effectively dictating play in the midfield for Odisha FC.
Princeton Rebello – 6.5
Princeton appeared disconnected during the match, frequently surrendering possession due to avoidable errors.
Roy Krishna – 8
Roy was once again the man to watch out for in Odisha FC’s side. He scored two goals and provided an assist to Isak to score the equalizer.
Isak Vanlalruatfela – 8
Isak scored the equalizer in the match and also provided an assist to Roy in the 45+3 minutes of play to score their fourth of the match.
Diego Mauricio – 7.5
Mauricio not only scored a goal with a penalty in the first half but also diligently sought opportunities to convert the chances into goals throughout the match.

Rodrigues replaced Princeton Rebello in the 66th minute of play. He was frequently observed relinquishing possession and struggled to maintain momentum during the game.

Aniket replaced Narender Gahlot in the 78th minute of play. He looked confident at the back and provided some clinical tackles towards the end of the game.

The custodian was guilty of the first three goals. They were all silly faults, and made it difficult to find a comeback for his side.
Provat Lakra – 5.5
Provat was given a start in place of suspended Prateek, made one clearance and six tackles in the game. He was exposed by Isak’s pace and trickery at times.
Elsinho – 5.5
The towering defender was caught out of position on quite a few occasions. He lost possession three times, which led to Juggernauts’ attacks.
Laldinpuia – 6
Dinpuia was up against Odisha FC’s deadly duo of Roy Krishna and Diego Mauricio on the left. He made three interceptions, two tackles and a clearance as well.
Jitendra Singh – 5
Jitendra was trying to get rid of the ball and did not possess any attacking threat to the opposition, made two clearances as well.
Nikhil Barla – 6.5
Nikhil was a livewire on the attacking right flank for Jamshedpur FC. He created one goal scoring opportunity and took one himself which should have been scored at such a level.
Rei Tachikawa – 7
Rei scored the opening goal from nowhere. He created two scoring chances, and registered a tackle and an interception to his name.
Jeremy Manzorro – 7
The Frenchman was slow in the first half, but got in the game after halftime. He carved out beautiful penetrating passes in the final third. Mazorro played three key passes and created one big chance for Nikhil.
Imran Khan – 6.5
Imran created a goal scoring chance, attempted five crosses and made two tackles on the night. Another appreciable all-round shift from the wing back.
Daniel Chima – 6.5
The Nigerian became the guilty again for not scoring from an array of good chances in the second half. He hit the woodwork and created a big chance as well.
Mohammed Sanan – 5.5
The youngster was sloppy whenever he got the ball. He was involved in two duels apart from running in the whole first half.

Len Doungel – 5.5
Len replaced Sanan to support Chima as the striking partner. He missed one sitter and committed two fouls.
Nongdamba Naorem – 6
Nongdamba created a scoring opportunity and hit a shot on target.
Muhammed Uvais – 6.5
Uvais registered one successful tackle and attempted two crosses in the limited minutes he got to play.
