It is well known that Leicester City is pursuing a bold trade for Sao Paulo centre defender Beraldo. Even though the 20-year-old is thought to be one of Brazil’s best defensive prospects, the Foxes are still attempting to reach a deal.

However, it had been speculated that rather than using this as a stepping stone, Beraldo will likely make his way directly to an elite club in Brazil.

According to a recent report from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, a high-profile transfer to a premier team might be imminent. He reports on X that PSG, the French powerhouse, is closing quickly on its pursuit of Leicester City’s target.

Sao Paulo requested a deal worth more than €20 million, and the Parisian side is currently offering a package worth €25 million plus add-ons. Things are moving swiftly, and Beraldo has already confirmed that PSG is a possible destination.
