The ISL action is set to resume from January 31, 2024 featuring an exciting clash between Jamshedpur FC and NorthEast United.
The Indian Super League (ISL) earlier today, released the new schedule with adding that the match timings will be changed considerably for the remainder of the 2023–24 season. These changes probably are part of a plan to improve the fan experience and increase the number of viewers. Fans can now look forward to kick-offs at 7:30 PM instead of 8:00 PM when the league opens up again on January 31, 2024.
The change comes into effect starting January 31, 2024, as the league resumes action after a prolonged break for the AFC Asian Cup 2023. The official schedule, released earlier today by the Indian Super League, confirms that all matches from January 31 to April 14, 2024, will now kick off at 7:30 PM and 5:00 PM (on double headers).
Given the considerable distances that supporters frequently travel to cheer for their favourite clubs, it is anticipated that the change in match schedules would improve attendance and foster a more welcoming atmosphere for fans. Probably optimal viewership and fan priorities were taken into consideration while making the ultimate selection.
The action-packed resumption on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, will showcase a thrilling matchup between the semi-finalists of the Kalinga Super Cup, Jamshedpur FC playing against NorthEast United FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur. So, the second half of the ISL season promises to be exciting for football fans nationwide, and the updated kick-off timings promise an even better show.
