On Thursday, the Technical Committee of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) put forth the nomination of Langam Chaoba Devi, a former India international, for the role of head coach of the senior national women’s team.

In a virtual meeting held on Thursday, the All India Football Federation’s Technical Committee chaired by former India captain IM Vijayan proposed former India international Langam Chaoba Devi for the position of head coach with the Indian Senior Women’s Team.

Langam Chaoba Devi, who has participated in two AFC Women’s Championships and the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok, previously helped as the assistant coach of the senior women’s team. Presently, she holds the position of head coach at Kickstart FC, where her team remains undefeated and is currently placed second in the IWL this season.
