'Not the change we wanted' - Fans react to India's downfall in latest FIFA Rankings

This is India’s lowest FIFA ranking under Igor Stimac.
After the recently concluded AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar, FIFA, the governing football body of the sport, has announced fresh rankings on Thursday. Unsurprisingly, India have been pushed down by 15 places to 117th in the latest ranking. Igor Stimac’s side lost all three group stage encounters and even failed to score a goal in the showpiece football event.
The Indian football team have faced a lot of stick from the press and the fans for their below par performance. More importantly, the fans have shown their displeasure towards the players as most of them are yet to come out and speak on the disastrous campaign.
