All you need to know about 6th Torneo Female Football Tournament

The young Blue Tigresses will face hosts Italy, chile and Mexico in the competition.
The Indian U-17 Women’s team kickstart their European exposure tour in Italy as part of its preparations for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India later this year. The team will participate in the 6th Torneo Female Football Tournament in Italy from June 22, 2022, to June 26. The tournament will also comprise Chile and Mexico U-17 teams apart from India and Italy, with the young tigresses set to begin their campaign against hosts Italy on June 22.
About The Tournament
The 6th Torneo Female Football Tournament for the U-17 age group will commence today. The tournament will be played from 22nd June to June 26, 2022. A total of four teams comprising of hosts Italy, India, Mexico and Chile will be taking part in this edition.
The four teams will face each other in a round-robin format once. The matches will be played on alternate days, starting today.

India squad for 6th Torneo Female Football Tournament
Indian U-17 women's football team head coach Thomas Dennerby has named a 23-member squad for the tournament in Italy.

Telecast/Live Stream
All matches in the Tournament will be live-streamed on the tournament's Facebook page. Fans can also follow the scores live on the Tournament's official website.
This will be the first of the two European tournaments the Indian team will be participating in. The second will be an eight-team tournament in Norway comprising of an elite pool of Netherlands, India, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland and Sweden. This will begin on July 1, 2022.
