AC Milan are all set to battle it out against Inter Milan for their 10th matchweek fixture of the Serie A 2026-27 season. This will be a high-voltage clash to witness, taking place at the San Siro stadium.
AC Milan have now suffered their first defeat in the Italian top division this season. Bologna FC outplayed them in what was a 2-4 loss for AC Milan. Their defence was all over the place, and they did not do well in attack.
With five wins in their first nine league matches, the Italian giants are sitting in fifth place on the points table. For their upcoming league game, the Rossoneri will be at their home ground. They must use it to their advantage.
This will be a tough outing for them and a big test for the Portuguese head coach. A win here will surely play a big role in their title battle this season.
On the other hand, Cristian Chivu’s men are unbeaten in Serie A at the moment. They are at the top of the league table with eight wins in their first nine games. Safe to say the title defence is going strong for them.
The Nerazzurri are coming off a 2-0 win against Venezia, but they lacked a finishing touch in the final third. The San Siro Stadium is also the home ground for FC Internazionale Milano. They will be fully confident heading into the Milan Derby.
Players to Watch
Alphadjo Cissè (AC Milan)
The 20-year-old came up with another fantastic performance for AC Milan. In their 2-4 loss against Bologna FC, he scored a sensational brace, but his efforts were not enough. Alphadjo Cissè has shown great potential and can play an important role for the Rossoneri in the Milan Derby.
Marcus Thuram (Inter Milan)
Marcus Thuram will be looking to step up his game so that he can help FC Internazionale Milano stay undefeated in Serie A. Even though he delivered an average performance in the previous league game against Venezia, the Frenchman will play a crucial role in the final third for the Nerazzurri. The 29-year-old has seven goal contributions in eight league appearances this season and will be looking to add more to his tally.
