Rabiot is yet to join a club despite links with several clubs.

Adrien Rabiot is still looking to find a club after the transfer window came to close and now the player has been linked with a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr, and it is understood Cristiano Ronaldo is pushing the Frenchman to join the club.

The former Juventus player was linked with many clubs and among them was Manchester United but the Premier League side instead opted to sign Manuel Ugarte and now it looks unlikely that he will join Man Utd.

It is reported that Al-Nassr are preparing a €20m-year deal to sign the player and other reports confirm that the player is open to joining the Saudi team.

Once the move is finalised then Rabiot will be reunited with Ronaldo when both played for Juventus in 2019. However, it is not fully confirmed as Rabiot is exploring his options.

It was surprising to see as no club approached the player during the transfer window and despite being heavily connected to United they went on to sign Ugarte.

Liverpool were also among the clubs that were keen on signing Rabiot but a move never materialised and it looks likely that he might join a Saudi club.

The 29-year-old spent five years at Juventus and made 212 appearances for the club across all competitions, scoring 22 goals, registering 14 assists and winning four trophies including the 2019-20 Serie A title.

However, under new manager Thiago Motta it appeared that Rabiot was not in his plans and the Serie A team decided to not extend his deal. Rabiot has also been weighing up the future as he came close to leaving the club last summer but decided to renew his deal for another year.

However, he is in the market and with other countries’ transfer window still open Rabiot could move there, hence it remains to be seen and a transfer to the Middle East won’t be surprising.
