A big clash as the Knights of Najd return after the September-October international break.

Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Al Nassr will host Diriyah at Alawwal Park, a multi-purpose stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The defending champions currently sit in fourth place in the Saudi Pro League 2026-27 standings. Ange Postecoglou’s team have so far played seven league games. In those outings, they have won five games. Meanwhile, the other two ended in a draw and a defeat each.

They are among the highest-scoring sides, having scored 16 league goals. After conceding seven goals, they now stand with a nine-goal difference.

Just four places below Al Nassr stand Diriyah. They have only managed three league wins, while having two draws and two defeats to their names. Their attacking output has been pretty dull.

The team has managed only seven goals scored while conceding five. They will have high concerns when facing the defending champions that have Ronaldo in attack.

Recent results

The Knights of Najd will be eager to come back to winning ways. Before their schedule took a pause in the September-October international break, they suffered a devastating 4-0 defeat. UAE Pro League side Al Ain FC thrashed them on matchday 1 of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Their last victory came on 9 September. A 2-1 league match win against Abha. They can take some positive inspiration from that one, as it was also a home outing.

In their last five games across all competitions, Al Nassr have won two games. Two defeats came against Al Ittihad and Al Ain. Against Al Khaleej they managed a 1-1 result.

Meanwhile, their opponents also faced Abha recently, but could only manage a 0-0 draw. Just like Al Nassr, Diriyah Club also secured their last win on 9 September. They defeated Al Fateh 2-1.

In their last five games across all competitions, Diriyah managed two victories. A 0-2 defeat came against Al Qadsiah. Two draws came against Abha and Al Kholood.
