Al Nassr will host Neftchi Fergana at Al-Awwal Park in a second-round fixture of the AFC Champions League Elite 2026-27 Western Region on Monday, October 12, 2026. The Saudi giants are seeking their first continental win of the season and will hope to use their home ground to their advantage.
The Knights of Najd come into this fixture on the back of a 3-0 win against Diriyah in the Saudi Pro League. This marked a solid response after a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Al Ain in the Champions League.
Al Nassr sit in third place in the league table with 19 points, but remain winless in the continental tournament, sitting at the bottom of the Western Region table. Cristiano Ronaldo and co. will hope to lift their team off the foot of the table by getting all three points tonight.
Neftchi Fergana, meanwhile, remain unbeaten in their last four matches, winning three of them. However, they were held to a 2-2 draw by Xorazm in their last outing in the Uzbekistan Super League. The visitors have a perfect record in the ACL, beating Al Quwa Al Jawiya 1-0 in their opening match.
Players to Watch
Cristiano Ronaldo (Al Nassr)
Few players command attention like Al Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo, even though the forward is now 41 years old. He scored in the 3-0 win against Diriyah, marking his fourth goal this season. The Portuguese veteran will look to keep this run going tonight and will be key up front along with strike partner Joao Felix.
Koffi Kouao (Neftchi Fergana)
After a successful spell with Metz, Koffi Kouao joined Neftchi Fergana in the summer. The Ivorian full-back has been one of the best players for the Uzbekistani side, assisting the winner during the ACL match against Al Quwa Al Jawiya. He will be key in breaking the Saudi side’s defence tonight.
