Many players had to leave international duty due to injuries.
Kylian Mbappe, Kai Havertz, Jamal Musiala, Alexander Isak, Bruno Fernandes, Cody Gakpo, Martin Odegaard, and Brian Brobbey are among the most well-known players to develop fitness issues while away with their national teams. The international break has already resulted in a long list of injuries across European football.
Clubs in the Premier League were especially impacted. Odegaard is recovering from an ankle knock sustained against Portugal, while Havertz returned from Germany with a possible injury. While Liverpool are keeping an eye on Gakpo and Isak following ankle and thigh injuries, respectively, Sunderland experienced difficulties with both Brobbey and Daniel Ballard injured.
Chelsea, Brighton, and Brentford are among the other teams whose players may be impacted during the international window, while Manchester United are also worried about Patrick Dorgu and Bruno Fernandes.

“He played with an injury he brought from Manchester United,” Portugal boss Jorge Jesus said. “He really wanted to play against Wales.”
Below is a list of players who have had fitness problems or injuries seen thus far during the international break. After athletes return to their clubs, get scanned, and start training again, recovery schedules might alter rapidly.
