Both teams have won all their league matches so far.

Three matches into the current Premier League season, and the early narrative is emerging at both ends of the table. Arsenal and Manchester City are the only clubs with perfect records, both on nine points, while newly promoted Hull City have seven points from their first three games.

Only Manchester City F.C. and Arsenal F.C. have a perfect Premier League record this season. City began the season with three consecutive victories, propelling them to the top of the early league standings with nine points.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have won three games in a row, most recently defeating Chelsea 2-1, to remain on the same nine points as City.

It is not very unexpected to see the Gunners and the Cityzens at the top of the standings. City improved to three wins from three with a 1-0 triumph against Coventry City on Saturday, while Arsenal rallied from behind to defeat Chelsea 2-1 on Sunday. Both teams have nine points and the same plus-five goal differential; however, City lead in terms of goals scored.

The Gunners’ recovery against Chelsea was especially noteworthy because it was their first meaningful challenge of the campaign. Morgan Rogers handed the Blues a first-half advantage. Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard flipped the game around, keeping Arsenal’s perfect record.

However, the season has only begun. There are plenty of stories to be written as the campaign progresses. We will witness whether both clubs will be able to maintain their winning run.

Many other big sides will be challenging for the title this season. We can expect to be a tight title race this term.

When was the Gunners’ last win in the league?

They recently won 2-1 against Chelsea last weekend.

Where do Man City stand in the table?

They are first on the table.
