Coventry, on the other hand, finished 11 points ahead of second-place Ipswich Town at the end of an outstanding season, winning the Championship with 95 points.
It has been an amazing few years for the Sky Blues, who are back in the Premier League for the first time since 2000–01. As recently as 2017–18, they were a League Two team.
Eight new players have joined Frank Lampard’s team during the summer transfer window, with Caleb Yirenkyi being the most expensive, at least in terms of transfer fees.
