AS Roma are all set to battle it out against Inter Milan for their matchweek 5 contest of the Serie A 2026-27 season. These top two clubs are going to square off at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Wolves continue their unbeaten run this season and are now going to have a tough challenge ahead. They have secured wins in all of their first four matches of the Italian top division. Their last victory came against Torino FC (2-0).
Gian Piero Gasperini’s men were calm and composed till the end. They were hence rewarded with three points, AS Roma will now be at home for their next league fixture.
They haven’t beaten Inter at home in a league contest in almost 10 years. Being at home will surely give them some advantage, but it is not going to be an easy contest for the Wolves.
The Christian Chivu-led side have also been doing great in the Serie A 2026-27 season so far. They have secured four wins in their first four matches and will be looking to add more to their tally. Their only loss this season came against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
FC Internazionale Milano must look to improve their performance in the backline. They have only secured one clean sheet in four games. This should be seen as a concern for them.
However, despite being away from home, the Nerazzurri will be confident due to their record against AS Roma.

Donyell Malen (AS Roma)
Donyell Malen has been in a top run of form for AS Roma since the beginning of the season. He now has six goals in four Serie A matches this season. He opened the scoring for his side in their last league outing against Torino.
His presence is surely going to bring some trouble for Inter’s defence.
Marcus Thuram (Inter Milan)
The 29-year-old French forward came up with a top performance for FC Internazionale Milano in their 5-3 comeback win against Udinese. He scored a goal and bagged an important assist, which was crucial for the Nerazzurri. Marcus Thuram now has two goals and an assist in three league appearances this season.
