Barcelona's squad numbers for 2026-27 season

With the summer transfer window in Spain officially closed, FC Barcelona have finalised their team and have confirmed the official shirt numbers for the whole squad.
The departures of numerous players, including Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Ronald Araujo, Ferran Torres, Robert Lewandowski, Marcus Rashford, and Marc Casado, along with the arrival of several new players, have led to a significant reshuffle of available numbers.
Joan García, the club’s first-choice custodian last season, has moved from No. 13 to No. 1 after Ter Stegen’s departure.
Meanwhile, Fermin Lopez has moved from No. 16 to No. 7, which became available following Ferran’s move to PSG. Meanwhile, Wojciech Szczesny, an experienced custodian, jumps from number 25 to number 13.
In addition, two youth graduates, Brian Farinas and Xavi Espart, have been officially registered as first-team players in LaLiga and assigned first-team numbers of 4 and 12, respectively.
In terms of summer arrivals, deadline-day signing Gabriel Jesus gets the No. 9 shirt, which was formerly worn by Robert Lewandowski.
Karim Adeyemi, who joined from Borussia Dortmund, will wear No. 14, which became vacant after Marcus Rashford’s departure.
Rodri, a major summer signing, has been assigned his preferred #16 shirt, which Fermin had left, while Anthony Gordon takes over as No. 17, taking Casado’s number.
In goal, Dominik Livakovic inherits Szczesny’s No. 25, while Joao Cancelo retains the No. 2 he sported during his loan spell at Barcelona in the second part of last season.
